Kinamo achieves ISO 27001 certification

We are proud to share that as of December 2024, Kinamo is officially ISO 27001 certified.

This international standard for information security underlines the importance of a structured and secure approach to protecting data and securing IT infrastructure. Achieving this certification is the result of our long-standing commitment to security and quality, combined with the teamwork it took to thoroughly map our processes and procedures for the audit.

The road to ISO 27001

Kinamo has been active on the Belgian market since 2003 as an independent party with its own autonomous server and network infrastructure in independent data centers. We offer a wide range of services, including managed services, webhosting, domain names, SSL certificates and collaboration tools such as e-mail, Microsoft 365 and Kinamo Nextcloud. We also support our customers with custom development.

Since our founding, trust, integrity and quality, accessible and personal support have always been at the heart of everything we do. We have been building a secure online environment and way of working for over 20 years, because we believe that quality and reliability are the cornerstones of lasting customer relationships.

With the increasing focus on cybersecurity and data protection, secure online data handling is becoming increasingly important - not just for large companies, but for everyone. This evolution brings new challenges such as increasing customer demand for security guarantees and official certifications. Since 2017, Kinamo is already ISO 9001-certified. This standard has helped us optimize processes and take customer satisfaction to the next level.

In line with the increasing demand for clear documented processes as well as the requirements of the European NIS2 legislation, we decided to further strengthen our approach with the ISO 27001 certification. This standard provides a solid framework to structurally address data protection, manage risks and make our security standards uniform and transparent.

The ISO 27001 certification is more than a technical standard; achieving it recognizes our commitment to protecting customer data and information from ever-increasing cyber threats. Moreover, it highlights our commitment to continually optimize processes and technology.
