I want to transfer my domain name to Kinamo, how long does this take to complete?

domain names transfer

Once the move or 'transfer' of your domain name is requested you will receive an e-mail message with the question whether you agree with the transfer or not. You must respond to this message as soon as possible with an 'approve'. If not, the transfer will not take place.

For .be and .eu domain names, the transfer is immediately activated and the domain is instantly transferred to Kinamo once you have validated the transfer. This means your domain name, hosting and eventual email are active at once.

For .com and other domain names, after you have replied to the request, it can take up to 24 hours before the transfer is completed and everything is relocated to the new hosting provider, including your e-mail and website.

Switching your e-mail settings is best done after you have confirmed the domain name transfer. For some extensions it can take up to several days before the transfer is fully completed.
