  • Is the IUCLID software on the cloud server automatically updated?

    The latest new version of the IUCLID application will not be automatically installed on your server. We wait a short period of time after a release by ECHA to make sure minor releases and bug fixes do not follow quickly after a major release. If it appears that the new release is 100% stable, we roll it out. Updates to new major versions are always installed on request and after consultation.

  • How does the backup and restore of IUCLID data work?

    We back up your IUCLID cloud server daily using snapshots. This allows us to revert to a back-up from the previous day. 
    If more back-up moments per day are needed we can adopt a more frequent back-up schedule. When a version update for the IUCLID application is required, we also take a snapshot before the update so that a roll-back to the previous version is possible, in case there would be a problem with the new IUCLID software release.

    Each IUCLID cloud installation runs is its own private cloud server instance. This means that each customer can make use of a fully autonomous IUCLID application with complete data separation and segregation.
