An A record (address record) points a hostname to an IP address, also known as an IPv4 address, to differentiate them from the newer IPv6 addresses.
For example you could create an A record for hostname "www" and point this to IP address "126.96.36.199" so anyone typing www.yourdomein.be will automatically be directed to IP 188.8.131.52, the server where your website is hosted.
No configuration on your part is needed if your domain name, website or server are hosted at Kinamo. Kinamo takes care of creating all necessary DNS records during initial setup of your hosting.
