Worldtrading Europe has been a trusted distributor of strong A-brands within the Benelux for years. But while their activities and ambitions continued to grow, their website lagged behind. The old platform was built as a webshop and served its original purpose, but did not reflect who Worldtrading Europe is today: a modern, international player with an extensive network of retailers and a strong story for suppliers.

It was time for a digital look and feel that did their organization justice and was future-proof.

A new identity that goes beyond a website

Kinamo developed not only a new website, but also an updated visual identity: a fresher, contemporary look that can grow with their strategy in the coming years.

  • The deep blue refers to their international presence and their reliable, quality-oriented way of working.
  • The energetic orange represents the speed and flexibility with which the team serves clients on a daily basis.

Important for Worldtrading Europe: the photography had to be real. No anonymous stock images, but images that show who they are, their people, their warehouse, their operation. The result feels authentic and recognizable for their customers and partners.

A website that really moves retailers forward

Retailers are the heart of Worldtrading Europe their business. Therefore, this target group was given a central place on the new site. The retailer pages immediately make it clear why customers like working with Worldtrading Europe: an extensive range of A-brands, attractive prices and a service they can count on.
From fast delivery to a customer service that thinks along with them, the site radiates the same reliability and directness that retailers have been used to for years.

A strong story for manufacturers and producers

For suppliers, a separate section was developed, fully tailored to the demands and expectations of international brands looking for a distribution partner.

The page for manufacturers clearly explains what assets Worldtrading Europe offers: an extensive retail network, years of experience, a performing logistics model and a strong reputation in the market.

It is a page that exudes confidence. It invites manufacturers to look beyond "a distributor" and discover why Worldtrading Europe is becoming a long-term partner for many A-brands.

Clear information thanks to FAQ and knowledge articles

The new site was built as an informational hub, not just a digital brochure.

Visitors will find quick answers to frequently asked questions around collaboration, delivery, A-brand distribution and practical processes in the FAQ.

In addition, Worldtrading Europe is given space to showcase their expertise through news articles. Not just product news or promotions, but broader trends and sector insights, content that shows they know their market inside out.

Multilingualism as a lever for internationalization

Because Worldtrading Europe works more and more internationally, the entire site was expanded into six languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Polish and Bulgarian.

To manage this efficiently, we integrated into Craft CMS an intelligent translation workflow where DeepL-AI is built directly into the backend. Content managers can generate professional translations that are consistent, fast and reliable with a single action.

The technology works subtly behind the scenes, but makes managing an international website extremely easy.

SEO and technical performance as a foundation

During construction, much attention was paid to a clear structure, clean code, semantic structure and optimal indexability.
As a result, the site is more findable and lays a solid foundation for further growth through search engines.

A thoughtful transition for the web shop

Although Worldtrading Europe also plans to revamp their e-commerce environment over time, the focus now was on the branding site. The webshop will therefore continue to function as customers are used to for the time being.

To keep everything clear, the webshop was housed on a separate and clear subdomain: webshop.worldtradingeurope.com. Thus, the ordering experience remains completely unchanged, while the new branding website is already ready for the next phase in their digital strategy.
