A new corporate website
Worldtrading Europe has been a trusted distributor of strong A-brands in Europe for years. But while the company, their activities and their ambitions continued to grow, the website lagged behind. The old website was built with the main purpose of being a webshop. But over time, it did not allow to properly develop the corporate identity, information around the company itself and their operations. It was therefore decided to create a new corporate website that shows who Worldtrading Europe is today: a modern, international player with an extensive network of retailers and a strong offer for suppliers.
It was decided to create a new corporate website first, and then in a second phase, possibly to include a renewed webshop. The corporate website can be visited at the URL https://www.worldtradingeurope.com/ and from there a link to current webshop that has been moved to a subdomain. This way, the ordering experience remains completely unchanged, while the corporate website can generate new leads and inform existing customers about the company's processes and operations.
Kinamo developed not only a new website, but also an updated visual identity: a fresher, contemporary look that can grow with their strategy in the coming years.
On the website, they chose to work with their own photos. Worldtrading Europe did not want anonymous stock images, but rather photos that show who they are, their people, their warehouse, their operation. The result feels authentic and recognizable for their customers and partners.
Retailers
Retailers are the heart of Worldtrading Europe their business. Therefore, this target group was given a central place on the new site. The retailer page immediately make it clear why customers like working with Worldtrading Europe: an extensive range of A-brands, attractive prices and a service they can count on.
From fast delivery to a customer service that thinks along with them, the site radiates the same reliability and directness that retailers have been used to for years.
Manufacturers
For manufacturers a separate section was developed, fully tailored to the questions and expectations of international brands looking for a distribution partner. The page clearly explains to them what assets Worldtrading Europe offers: an extensive retail network, years of experience, a performing logistics model and a strong reputation in the market.
A thoughtful FAQ approach has also been developed within the site.
At the bottom of each page are answers to the most frequently asked questions about the topic of the page. And in the clear FAQ hub contains all questions about cooperation, delivery, A-brand distribution and practical processes. Using a search and categories, visitors can find the answers to their questions even faster.
There is also a news hub provided so Worldtrading Europe can share their expertise on distribution and retail, as well as news about the company, products and promotions.
Because Worldtrading Europe works more and more internationally, the entire site was expanded into six languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Polish and Bulgarian.
To manage this efficiently, we integrated into Craft CMS an intelligent translation workflow where DeepL-AI is built directly into the backend. Content managers can generate professional translations that are consistent, fast and reliable with a single operation. The technology works subtly behind the scenes, but makes managing an international website extremely easy.
A key objective for the new corporate website was to ensure that it was found well by the right visitors.
Therefore, during the development and launch of the website, great attention was also paid to a clear content structure, clean code and optimal indexability so that both search engines and AI agents optimally attract the right visitors to the site.
For this project, we chose Craft CMS because of its flexibility, scalability and strong support for customization and multilingualism. Craft allows us to build a website that is not limited by templates, but fully fits the needs of the organization, now and in the future.
The combination of a user-friendly editor, powerful technical base and smooth integrations (such as the AI translations) made Craft the ideal choice for this project and as the basis for the new webshop in a later phase.
Worldtrading Europe now has a modern, international corporate site that strengthens their identity, makes their operation visible and supports them in their growth strategy.
