Kinamo mail server settings (mail server cheat sheet)

Last updated: 11/02/2016

The following article provides the basic settings and server names (domain names) for the Kinamo mail infrastructure. These settings allow you to configure your e-mail account on the majority of e-mail software and mobile devices.

Kinamo uses your full e-mail address as a username!

Option Description
Username Your complete e-mail address eg. yourname@yourdomain.be
Password The password of your e-mail address.

You may configure your e-mail account as an IMAP account (mails will stay on the server) or POP3 account (mails will be downloaded and erased from the server). Both have different settings!

The following settings are subject to IMAP accounts:

Option Description

SSL security Active

The following settings are subject to POP3 accounts:

Option Description

The following settings are for the outgoing server.
Attention, this server requires authentication (you must authenticate using your e-mail address and password).
Do not forget to activate "usage of the Kinamo SMTP services" for your e-mail address in the My Kinamo website!

Option Description

Make sure that the MX record for your domain name points to the Kinamo mail infrastructure:
